On April 7, the world celebrated the Good Deeds Day (Good Deeds Day). Our Ayb team joined the global initiative in an attempt to replenish the amount of the good deeds happening in the world with our modest contribution.
We are happy that the Ayb Educational Foundation, as one of the advocates of this idea in Armenia, was able to undertake several useful initiatives to bring warmth and smiles to those who need them most.
On April 6, despite rainy weather, we joined Eco Aghb’s initiative to collect paper and plastic packaging and to transport it for recycling.
On April 7, we organized a Facebook game, in a hope that people will learn to not only accept kindness but also pass it over to others, without special occasions or expectations.
On April 8, we organized a minor spring holiday for the elderly of Nork’s Nursing Home by paying them a visit and taking with us some entertainment items (books, dominoes, checkers, backgammon, chess, bingo, crossword puzzles, calendars), as well as writing and drawing stationery to add more colors to their routine. It is also commendable that our partner restaurants for one of our projects, Goodwill Dinner (Ankyun Italian Home Restaurant, Dolmama - Armenia's Restaurant, Garun, Gouroo Club & Garden, Tufenkian Kharpert Restaurant), joined our initiative to organize a tasty feast for the elderly.
We hope that making good deeds happen will eventually become a habit and a part and parcel of our daily life.
It is worth reminding that one of our key missions is to assist the children of insolvent households from Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora that have been enrolled at Ayb High School to receive quality education.
