Our young team of Khan Academy Armenia is in Tavush marz to present Khan Academy’s possibilities and all its useful tools to the schoolteachers in border villages.
On October 11 and 18, our Khan Academy team visited Noyemberyan and Berd towns in Tavush marz, where Khan Academy workshops were organized for the mathematics teachers of border villages. Our team presented the platform and online tools, as well as helped the teachers register on the website, use its tools and explore potential models for their application both in class and during extracurricular activities. During our meetings with the students, we will help them register in the online classrooms created by their teachers.
Khan Academy promotes the culture of online education in the marzes to enable the teachers and students to use the modern educational platform and learn with latest interactive methods.
It should be reminded that, owing to this initiative, 360 middle school students from 19 schools of Tavush border villages will be able to deepen their mathematical knowledge, while 30 teachers will be able to improve the quality of their learning via application of new materials and technologies. It is envisaged to conduct, starting from October 11 till the end of the year, 27 workshops for the schools in Aknaghbyur, Vazashen, Voskepar, Kirants, Dovegh, Ditavan, Berkaber, Barekamavan, Atcharkut, Lusadzor, Lusahovit, Jujevan, Chinari, Aygepar, N.
