A Truly Aybian Wedding

12 November / 2019

“Even the godfather, bridesmaid and best man were from Ayb, from our class, all because Ayb is a real family for us, a union.”

Sirarpi and Allen are both graduates of Ayb School, and this year, they got married.

“We first met when we got admitted to Ayb; I was a grade older than Allen. The school had just opened that year; in fact, there was no school as such, since the construction works were underway,” Sirarpi shares. “We were involved in different programs but had to present the school within the same project. It so happened that Allen and I found ourselves in the same group and got acquainted right away. We started dating at school, then entered the American University together, while working on different projects along the way. We then established the Reezalt Creative Labs that specializes in digital marketing. And well, we got married this year!

Our union started from Ayb, which has had a great role in my life. I do think we owe everything we have to the knowledge and education Ayb has provided to us. We’ve been taught that we can do much more and that we should always aspire for the maximum. We have our company today, which, I believe, is also thanks to that.  When we established Ayb Media Club at school, I couldn’t even imagine that I would be doing the same work years later.

We naturally decided to organize our wedding photoshoot at the school. Indeed, if it hadn’t been for Ayb, everything would probably be different. We are happy for the turn our life has taken since school.

We maintain a constant connection with Ayb. I am currently a mentor within the mentorship program. I have a really smart mentee; we always keep in touch, while I try to provide relevant guidance and reference for her questions, understand her problems to support and assist her as much as I can.

And the wedding ceremony was conducted by Fr. Mesrop. We were so glad he didn’t turn down our request! Everything was truly Aybian!”
