With the aim of bringing national song and dance back to our everyday lives and encouraging the development of the national identity, the Ayb Educational Foundation and Founder and Artistic Director of Karin Traditional Song and Dance Ensemble Gagik Ginosyan jointly founded the National Song and Dance Academy Educational-Cultural Foundation in September of 2015. The mission of the Academy is to research, teach, and popularize national songs and dances, making them a living part of Armenian culture, as well as to raise the sense of national identity.
To bring our children up as true Armenians, helping them realize their national identity, is one of the crucial factors in the mission of molding a generation. This idea has been implemented and tested in Ayb School from the very first day through national dance classes. Best teachers of the Karin Traditional Song and Dance Ensemble teach in Ayb School.
The Academy has four directions: educational, military dance, cultural, and scientific. Each will have its sub-directions with a number of specific activities to be carried out within, including but not limited to the coordination of cultural disciplines at school, the training and re-training of teachers and lecturers, the establishment of a Master's program, the integration of military dances into the Army as part of physical and spiritual education and the scientific substantiation of dance.

To make national culture available to children through teaching of the national song and dance.
Teaching military dances to Armenian youth is a way of awakening their national spirit, educating ideological people, and promoting a sense of unity among soldiers.
Through performances and staging national songs and dances will become more perceivable and popular among the society.
By collecting, analyzing, and researching national songs and dances, establishing a system for recording and spreading of dances, as well as creating a database, the Academy will preserve materials relating to our national culture
